Best home purchase experience ever, even from Minnesota! My husband and I were on a quick getaway from MN to SW FL in May of this year. While relaxing on a local beach, we decided we were ready to look at some homes to hopefully find our first vacation rental property in the area. Long story short, we closed on a beautiful home in Cape Coral at the end of July! Heather was the best realtor we have ever worked with. There was no doubt that she had our backs 110% of the time. She went above and beyond to make sure we got the most house for our money and weren't getting ourselves into something dodgy with either the paperwork or the home purchase. Heather's level of communication is top-notch! She patiently talked us through every part of the home buying process, did video calls with us to view the home in Cape Coral from our living room in Northern MN, and kept the purchase process constantly moving forward by coordinating with the selling realtor, our bank, and me at all hours of the day. Connections? She's got them! We lined up a wonderful lender, an inspector, a hotel when we came down to see the house, a pest control company, and more with her help. These pieces of our home-buying experience were invaluable! There was a point in the negotiations of our offer with the seller and his realtor when I thought the entire deal was off. I was devastated because a few issues had come up with the house after the professional inspection report came back. I had flown down to FL for the inspection, had seen and loved the house, and was ready to walk away from the deal with a heavy heart, ready to start our home search all over again. Heather asked me to trust her and let her do her job. There was a lot riding on the deal, but I trusted her completely. She went to bat for us and came out with more than we ever expected in the deal! I was thrilled! My husband still calls her a bulldog. You definitely want Heather on your side of the negotiations! Lastly, I'd say I've made a friend in Heather. She's so much more than just a realtor. Months after the sale, I still stay in communication with her. She has offered to look in on the house, checked in with me to make sure everything went smoothly after closing, shared her experiences and connections with me as I prepare to rent the house out, and continues to keep her eye out for future investment properties for us in SW FL. She's on my Christmas card list and I look forward to taking her out to dinner the next time I'm in Cape Coral. I can't wait to purchase another home with Heather!
